Sisters On An Adventure - August 20, 2014

My sister Sam and I have been hanging out together every day since my return up north, and luckily we haven’t got on one another’s nerves yet nor killed one another.  We both are ladies who require healthy balanced doses of both socializing and alone time, so… so far we are doing well.  Even on a full day of running around through rolling hills, over bridges, by the river and all over downtown. Indeed, I ran my little sister all over the place.

We commenced with hot food and beverages at one of our favourite places, taking pleasure in use of the Wi-Fi to view some photos of our family members that they have posted online; laughing as we reminisced. 

Next phase of the day was getting her college papers updated and reviewing the steps she will need to take over the course of a couple of weeks here.  This did not take as long as we thought so off we went right afterward, giggling, smiling and swapping stories the whole time.

The day was a most adventurous one.  The day was much cooler than it has been, and it was so refreshing, especially with the amount of hiking we did and the errands we had to do.  We also got to meet up with our lovely Aunt at her office and take her to lunch, and end the day with seeing our Mom at the hospital.  It was great to see more people coming and visiting her to lift her spirits.

It was a wonderful day!
