Mom is still in the hospital.
Didn’t spend much time with family today, but I did get a
lot of time to myself.
It was a sunny day with a light wind, so I went for a long
walk; I turned off my cell phone and walked through town, all along the trails
at the west edge of the woods, and then up the highway and back to town. I felt free of any ties to anything, just
singing and walking as I embraced the warmth of the sun on my skin, wind in my
hair, and happy thoughts of events of the past, present, and hopeful ones for
the future.
