The temperature dropped drastically recently! We went from hot temperatures to almost 0 degrees celsius in less that twenty four hours two days ago. The cold has stayed for the moment, with precipitations of cold rain and light snow. There is pros and cons for me when the pressure in the air changes this fast, particularly from warm to cold. Perhaps some of you would agree with me?
The downsides are I am super tired, so no energy to do anything nor do I seem to have any mental focus. I just want to lie around and sleep. If I do awaken it is usually to make something hot to drink or eat; particularly something to heat or cook quite rapidly so I can devour and drain it all into my belly so I can go back to sleeping.
Years ago these sorts of days used to annoy me because I felt as if I haven't accomplished anything and threw twenty-four hours of my life away, but not anymore. I now embrace days like this, accept them. I now realize the moments are for me to truly take time to relax, rest, enjoy plenty of reading, writing, or research and learn something new.
My favourite part in my lazy days is the cozy atmosphere I have from the inside out of my body when I wear soft, thick pajamas, then wrap up a large blanket with my head laying on a fluffy pillow. I love it so much!
Anybody else have special ways they treat themself on lazy days?
